शहरातील उच्चभ्रू काँलनी असलेले नाथ नगर आज दि. 3 ऑक्टो रोजी दुपारी दोन ते तीन वाजताचे सुमारास घरातील मंडळी घटस्थापनेच्या च्या समान आणण्यासाठी गेले असता. घराबाहेर गेल्याची संधी साधून अज्ञात चोरट्यांनी रोख रक्कमेसह सोन्या-चांदीच्या वस्तू सह लाखोंचा ऐवज लंपास केल्याची घटना घडल्याने शहरात एकच खळबळ उडाली आहे .शहरात नवरात्र उत्सवाची तयारी सुरू असताना आज दुपारी दोन ते तिन वाजताचे सुमारास श्रीकांत जनार्दन मामीडवार या प्रतिष्ठित व्यापाऱ्याच्या घरातील मंडळी घटस्थापने निमित्त त्यांच्या पत्नी व मुलगी दुपारी घराबाहेर गेले होते . घराबाहेर गेल्याची संधी साधून अज्ञात चोरट्यांनी मामीडवार यांच्या घराच्या बाजुला अर्धवट बांधकाम सुरु असलेल्या बाजुने घरात प्रवेश करून चोरट्यांनी डाव साधल्याचा अंदाज व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे. मामीडवार यांच्या पत्नी बाहेरुन आल्यानंतर त्यांनी दरवाजा उघडा आढळला त्यांनी आत प्रवेश केल्यानंतर घरातील अस्ताव्यस्त सामान पाहिल्या नंतर पती श्रीकांत यांना फोनवरून सुचना दिली व श्रीकांत यांनी पोलीसांना कळविल्यानंतर घटनास्थळी उपविभागीय पोलीस अधिकारी हनुमंत गायकवाड व ठाणेदार संजय सोळंके हे ताफ्यासह घटनास्थळी पोहोचले . पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळाची पाहणी केली व तपासाचे चक्रे फिरवीली पोलिसांसमोर त्यांना पकडण्याचे मोठे आव्हान उभे ठाकले आहे .दिवसा ढवळ्या गजबजलेल्या वस्तीतील घरातील लाखो रुपयांच्या चोरीच्या या घटनेने शहरात एकच खळबळ उडाली आहे . दरम्यान घटनास्थळी माहिती होताच आमदार नामदेव ससाने यांनी भेट देवुन प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी केली पूढील तपास ठाणेदार संजय साळुंके हे करित आहेत . तर या प्रकरणी वृत्त लिहेपर्यंत घटनेची फिर्याद दाखल झाली नसल्याने नेमकी चोरी किती लाखाची झाली हे कळले नाही ‘
