तालुक्यातील खरूस परिसरात बिबट्याने शेतातील गायीवर हल्ला चढवून तिला ठार केले असून पाण्याच्या शोधात अनेक हिंस्त्र प्राणी गावकुसाकडे वाटचाल करत असल्याने शेतक-यांसह नागरिकांतही दहशतीचे वातावरण पसरले आहे.
काल दि. १९ मार्च रोजी सायंकाळच्या सुमारास उमरखेड तालुक्यातील मौजे खरूस परिसरात दिगंबर तुपेकर यांच्या शेतातील गायीवर बिबट्याने हल्ला चढवून ठार केले. तर यापुर्वीही परिसरात अनेक वेळा बिबट्याने पाळीव प्राण्यावर हल्ला केला असल्याने शेतकी कामांसाठी शेतातील बाहेर पडणा-या शेतक-यांत प्रचंड दहशतीचे वातावरण पसरले असून वनविभागाने वेळीच उपाययोजना करण्याची मागणीही शेतकरी वर्गाकडून केली जात आहे.
दरम्यान बिबट्याच्या हल्ल्यात ठार झालेल्या मृत गायीचा वनविभागाला कल्पना देवूनही उशीरापर्यंत पंचनामा न झाल्याने शेतक-यांप्रती वनविभागाचे उदासिन धोरण पुन्हा एकदा दिसून येत असून नुकसानग्रस्त शेतकरी दिगंबर तुपेकर यांना झालेल्या नुकसानीची तातडीने नुकसान भरपाई मिळावी. अशी माफक आशा शेतकरीवर्ग बाळगून आहे…..
