तालुक्यातील ब्राम्हणगांव येथील तेजमल गांधी ज्यूनियर कॉलेज येथे प्राध्यापक म्हणून कार्यरत असलेले 37 वर्षिय संदिपान खंदारे यांनी पत्नी व सासू सासरे अशा 5 नातेवाईकांच्या जाचाला कंटाळून नांदेड येथील निवासस्थानी दि . 15 फेब्रुवारी रोजी गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली या प्रकरणी मृत्तकाच्या बहिणीच्या फिर्यादीवरून भाग्यनगर पोलीस ठाण्यात पत्नीसह 5 जणांविरुद्ध आत्महत्येस प्रवृत्त केल्याबद्दल भादंवि 306, 323, 504, 506 ( 34 ) नुसार गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे .
उमरखेड तालुक्यातील ब्राम्हणगांव येथे तेजमल गांधी ज्यूनियर कॉलेजमध्ये मृत्तक प्राध्यापक म्हणून कार्यरत असलेले संदिपान खंदारे यांचे सन 2019 मध्ये तालुक्यातील कृष्णापूर येथील स्नेहल अनंतराव गायकवाड हिचे सोबत झाले होते . त्यानंतर या दोघांचा लग्नानंतर एक महिनाभर संसार चांगला राहिला . त्यानंतर सासु सासऱ्यांशी पटत नसल्याच्या कारणाने स्नेहल व तिचे नातेवाईक नेहमीच पती सोबत वाद घालून मारहाण करीत होते . त्यांच्या कडून होत असलेला छळ असह्य झाल्यामुळे माझ्या भावाने राजेश नगर तरोडा नाका येथे दि . 15 फेब्रुवरी रोजी 11 वाजताचे सुमारास गळफास घेऊन आत्महत्या केली
