“राजकारणात कुणीही कुणाचा कायम मित्र वा शत्रु नसतो” असं म्हणतात. बऱ्याच अंशी ते अनुभवायला देखील मिळते. मात्र काही ठिकाणी ‘ सत्ता लोलुपता ‘ माणसाची बुद्धी हरते आणि माणूस अमानुष पद्धतीने वागू लागतो. अगदी निती, संस्कृती, लोकलाज सारं काही विसरून समोरच्याच्या जिवावर उठतो, ‘ एक तर तु राहशील किंवा मी! ‘ असा निर्वाणीचा इशारा देवुन स्वतः मधील प्रतिशोधाच्या अग्नीला खाद्य ( खतपाणी ) देत स्वतःचा ईगो समाधानी करतो. उबाठाचे प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांनीही मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्रजी यांच्याबाबत हे सारं किंबहुना यापेक्षाही बरेच काही केले. बेंबीच्या देठापासून सारा जोर लावत सारे हातखंडे वापरूनही काही उपयोग झाला नाही. प्रचंड मताधिक्याने फडणवीस सरकार पुन्हा सत्तेवर आले. त्यानंतर उद्धव ठाकरे मा. मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या भेटीला गेले. 10 मिनिट त्यांच आदरातिथ्य झालं.
शांत, अभ्यासु, दयाळू आणि संयम ज्यांचा स्थाईभाव आहे अशा मा. देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस यांनी उद्धव ठाकरे यांना दिलेल्या वागणुकिनंतर सबंध महाराष्ट्राच्या मनात एक प्रश्न उपस्थीत होतो तो म्हणजे, ‘ उद्धवजी आता तुम्हीच सांगा देवेन्द्रजींना भेटुन कसे वाटले ?
उद्धवजी आपण ज्यांच्या संदर्भात फडतूस, नालायक, नीच, कारस्थानी असे वाट्टेल ते ओरडत सुटत होता, जमलेल्या गर्दीतून अशे किळसवाणे ओंगळ शब्द ऐकण्यासाठी चिथावणी देत होता, त्याच स्थितप्रज्ञ ‘ देवभाऊ ‘ ने आपले हसतमुखाने स्वागत केले, आपल्याला कसे वाटले ?
एकेकाळी आपले सहकारी असलेल्या देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्यावर सपासप वार केले जात होते. अक्षरशः नीच, नालायक या शब्दात देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांची निर्भत्सना केली जात होती. एकतर तु राहशील किंवा मी राहीन…
अशा एकेरी शब्दात मुख्यमंत्री राहीलेल्या लोकप्रिय नेत्याला आव्हान दिलं गेलं.
अक्षरशः भडास काढली गेली. तरीही ‘ स्थितप्रज्ञ ‘ देवाभाउंचा ‘ संयम ढासळत नाही हे पाहून, पेड ट्रोल आर्मी देवा भाऊ यांच्या कुटुंबीयांची निर्भत्सना करू लागली. अक्षरशः विष्टाच ओकु लागली. आणि उद्धवजी ह्या सर्व गोष्टींचा आपण आसुरी आनंद घेत होता. ज्या माणसाची आपण अमर्याद अवहेलना केली. त्यांच्याकडील आदरतिथ्याने आपणास कसे वाटले उद्धवजी?
राजकारणात आकड्यांना प्रचंड महत्त्व आहे. याचा आपल्याला अनुभव आहेच. अर्थात जनतेने 2019 ला भाजप – सेनेला दिलेला कौल स्पष्ट असताना “आकडेमोडीच्या ” हिशोबानेच आपण डाव फिरविला होता ना ? मात्र उद्धवजी आपल्या ज्ञानात थोडी भर घालू इच्छितो. राजकारणात आकडे महत्वाचे असतात हे अर्धसत्य आहे. राजकारणात टिकण्यासाठी कर्तुत्वाने आपल्या पक्षातील, युतीतील सहकाऱ्यांचा आकडा वाढवावा लागतो, तो जोपासावा लागतो. तो टिकवावा लागतो. त्यानंतरच नेत्रुत्व म्हणून आपले गुणगान होते. मात्र ज्यांना आयतं बिळ मिळालं शिवाय तेही राखता आलं नाही त्यांना देवभाऊंच कर्तुत्व काय कळणार.
