डॉ.पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषी विदयापिठा अंतर्गत कृषी महाविद्यालय उमरखेड येथील आठव्या सत्रातील विद्याथीऀनी माॅड्युल कार्यक्रमां अंतर्गत दुधापासुन विवीध पदार्थ बनविले, त्यात बासुंदी, पनीर, खवा, श्रीखंड असे विवीध पदार्थांना लागणारे साहीत्य आणि त्याची कृती याचे प्रात्यक्षीक कृषी कन्यांनी करुन दाखवीले. दुग्ध व्यवसाय हा शेतीला पुरक असा जोडधंदा आहे. खेडेगावातील बरयाच लोकांचा उदरनिर्वाह दुग्ध व्यवसायावर अवलंबून आहे. यामध्ये दुधावर प्रक्रिया करुन विवीध प्रकारचे नवनवीन पदार्थ तयार करता येतात. सध्या दुधाला व दुग्धजन्य पदार्थांना प्रचंड मागणी आहे.फक्त दुध विकण्यापेक्षा त्यावर प्रक्रिया करुन दुग्धजन्य पदार्थ तयार केल्यास दुधाचे आर्थिक मुल्य कित्येक पटीने वाढते. याबाबत कृषीकन्या निकिता काळसरे, दिपश्री खंदारे, श्रध्दा मोरे, ऋतुजा लोखंडे यांनी पुढाकार घेऊन दुधापासुन विवीध पदार्थ कसे बनवायचे व बनवल्यावर कसे विकायचे व त्यापासुन नफा कसा मिळवायचा याचे मार्गदर्शन केले. यावेळी प्राचार्य सचिन चिंतले सर व पशुसवंर्धन दुधशास्त्र विभागाचे प्रा. सचिन देशमुख सर यांचे विशेष मार्गदर्शन लाभले.
