कृषी क्षेत्रात अमूल्य कार्य करणाऱ्या 28 कर्तृत्वान शेतकरी व शेतकरी पुत्रांचा प्रतिष्ठेचा मानला जाणारा भाऊसाहेब माने राज्यस्तरीय कृषी गौरव पुरस्कार देऊन सन्मान करण्यात आला.
भाऊसाहेब माने कृषी प्रतिष्ठान, डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषी विद्यापीठ अकोला व कृषी विज्ञान मंच उपक्रमांतर्गत दरवर्षी भाऊसाहेब माने राज्यस्तरीय कृषी गौरव पुरस्कार राज्यातील कर्तृत्वान शेतकऱ्यांना दिला जातो. कुपटी येथील कृषी महाविद्यालयात आयोजित या पुरस्कार सोहळ्याचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून डॉ पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषी विद्यापीठ अकोला चे विस्तार शिक्षण संचालक डॉ.आर. एम. गाडे हे होते तर कार्यक्रमाचे उदघाटन उपजिल्हाधिकारी श्री. ललितकुमार वऱ्हाडे यांच्या हस्ते पार पडले. प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक म्हणून कृषी अर्थतज्ञ उदय देवळणकर यांनी उपस्थित शेतकऱ्यांना मार्गदर्शन केले.तसेच विचारमंचावर डॉ. आय.बी. तायडे, डॉ. सुधीर वडतकर, पंडितजी चौगुले, डॉ.एन डी. पार्लावार, प्रशांत नाईक, एस.एस. चव्हाण, डॉ प्रमोद यादगीरवार, डॉ. एस. एस. हरणे, , डॉ. एम.एम. देशमुख, तालुका कृषी अधिकारी श्रीरंग निंबाळकर, नायब तहसीलदार पवार, डॉ. विजय माने, श्री शिवाजी शिक्षण संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष अनिरुद्ध पाटील चोंढीकर, कृषी प्रतिष्ठान चे अध्यक्ष अशोक वानखेडे आदी उपस्थित होते.
कृषी क्षेत्रात उल्लेखनीय कार्य करणाऱ्या प्रगतशील शेतकरी, कृषी आधारित प्रक्रिया, उद्योग, शेतीआधारित पूरक व्यवसाय, संशोधन, कृषी संलग्न इतर संशोधन, कृषी तंत्रज्ञान विस्तार, गावरानी गो संगोपन, वृक्ष संवर्धन व पर्यावरण, कर्तुत्ववान शेतकरी महिला, कृषी प्रसारक माध्यम वृत्तपत्र व इतर मान्यवरांची गटनिहाय निवड करून पुरस्कार देईल सन्मानित करण्यात आले.
राज्यस्तरीय कृषी गौरव पुरस्कारासाठी 28 जणांना सन्मानित करण्यात आले असून यात मानकऱ्यांमध्ये अतिश दांडेगावकर (वसमत), पंजाब डख परभणी, राजकुमार चौगुले कोल्हापूर, नितीन पखाले यवतमाळ, डॉ. सुरेंद्र रामभाऊ काळबांडे, डॉ. संतोष जनार्दन गहुरकर अकोला, कपिल शाम कुंवर यवतमाळ, अनुराधा पाटोळे नाशिक, रामदास दळवे, रवीप्रकाश कोरडे,वैशाली महाजन, पुष्पा कवळे, शुभम महाले, विठ्ठल काळे, मुंगसीराम उपाध्ये, विडुळ फार्मर प्रोड्युसर कंपनी, दिलीप फुके, आश्विनी ठाकरे, ब्रम्हदेव सरडे, मंगेश पारटकर, प्रफुल बनसोड, आदींना पुरस्कार देऊन सन्माननीत करण्यात आला.
कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक अन्न व तंत्रज्ञान महाविद्याल, यवतमाळ चे सहयोगी अधिष्ठाता डॉ. विजयराव माने यांनी केले. आपल्या प्रास्ताविकेत डॉ. विजयराव माने यांनी सांगितले की,
शेतकरी शेतमाल उत्पादनामध्ये अग्रेसर आहेतच. गरज आहे प्राथमिक प्रक्रिया करून शेतमाल ब्रॅण्डिंग करून विकण्याची. शेती ही नैसर्गिक साधन असल्याने मर्यादा येतात, उत्पन्न वाढवत असतांना प्रक्रिया करण्यामध्ये शेतकरी कमी पडत आहे असे मत डॉ. विजयराव माने यांनी प्रास्ताविकेत मांडले.
