स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त नांदेड येथील स्टेशन रोड वसीम बाबू सेठ कार्यालय परिसरात ह्यूमन राइट्स अँड पीस आर्गेनाइजेशन, छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज मुस्लिम सेवासंघ , हॅप्पी क्लब यांच्या वतीने रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते, ज्यामध्ये 103 जण सहभागी झाले होते, त्यात नेपाळ, तेलंगणा, पंजाब आणि नांदेड महाराष्ट्रायासह 103 जणांनी रक्तदानाचे उत्कृष्ट कार्य केले!
यावेळी मोहम्मद कासिम वसीम बाबू सेठ, नईम खान, अयुब पठाण व मोहम्मद शोएब , नुरखान पठान यांनी नांदेड जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक श्री.अबिनाश कुमार, नांदेड महानगरपालिका आयुक्त महेशकुमार डोईफोडे, माजी गुरुद्वारा बोर्ड अधीक्षक रंजीत सिंघ चिरागया, उपविभागीय पोलीस अधिकारी सुशील कुमार नाइक ,स्थानिक गुन्हे शाखेचे पोलिस निरीक्षक उदय खंडेराय , इतवारा पोलीस ठाण्याचे पोलीस निरीक्षक रणजीते, ग्रामीण पोलीस ठाण्याचे निरीक्षक आयलाने, वजिराबाद पोलीस ठाण्याचे पोलीस निरीक्षक परमेश्वर कदम, वाहतूक पोलीस निरीक्षक गुट्टे यांचा सत्कार व सत्कार करण्यात आला.
रक्तदान शिबिराच्या उत्कृष्ट कार्याचे कौतुक करून नांदेडचे जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक अविनाश कुमार तसेच नांदेडच्या विविध पोलीस निरीक्षकांयांच्या हस्ते अल अजीज कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालयाच्या अधिव्याख्याता आसिया परवीन व रक्तदान करणाऱ्या अनेक भाग्यवानांना प्रमाणपत्रांचे वाटप करण्यात आले.
सर्व रक्ताचे पाऊच नांदेड शासकीय रुग्णालय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय विष्णुपुरी नांदेड यांच्याकडे सुपूर्द केल्यानंतर विष्णुपुरी नांदेड येथील शंकरराव चव्हाण शासकीय रुग्णालय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाच्या रक्तपेढीचे विभागप्रमुख डॉ. समीर यांनी रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजक वसीम बाबू सेठ, नईम खान, अयुब पठाण, मोहम्मद शोएब ,नुरखान पठान सत्कार करून त्यांना सन्मानचिन्ह देऊन सन्मानित केले.
यावेळी रक्तदान प्रमुख पाहुण्यांनी वसीम बाबू सेठ, नईम खान, अयुब पठाण, मोहम्मद शोएब, नुरखान पठान देळुबकर यांच्या उत्कृष्ट सामाजिक कार्याचे कौतुक केले.
रक्तदान करताना दिसणारी खास गोष्ट म्हणजे अल अजीज कॉलेजच्या लेक्चरर आसिया परवीन, सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्या तरन्नुम हयात खान यांच्यासह अनेक महिलांनी रक्तदानात सहभाग घेऊन रक्तदानाचे मोठे कार्य केले.
