मोनिका गणेश पवार या महिलेला तिची नंनद हिने तेल ओतून जाळून टाकल्याचा प्रकार समोर आले असून या दुर्दैवी घटनेत विवाहितेचा बळी गेला आहे. मृतक मोनिका गणेश पवार हिने दि.४ जुलै रोजी एका गोडस मुलीला जन्म दिला. मुलीला जन्म का दिला या कारणावरून आधी तिची नंनद कांता संजय राठोड हिने कडाक्याचा वाद घातला. त्यानंतर मृतक महिला हि बाळंतपण असल्याने भांडणाकडे दुर्लक्ष केले. त्या नंतर काही वेळा मृतक मोनिका हि बाथरूम ला गेली असता नंनद कांता हिने मृतक च्या अंगावर ऑईल टाकुन पेठवून दिले. त्यात मृतक मोनिका हि ८० टक्के जळली . दरम्यान जळालेल्या मोनिका ला उशीरा उपचारसाठी सेवाग्राम येथील दवाखान्यात नेण्यात आले. मात्र दि. १७ जुलै च्या रात्री तीने अखरेचा श्वास घेतला. तिला एक चार वर्षाचा मुलगा असून १४ दिवसाची मुलगी सुद्धा आहेत. सदर घटनेचा पांढरकवडा पोलीस स्टेशन येथे कलम ३०२ नुसार गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला असुन पुढील तपास जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक डाॅ.दिलीप पाटील भुजबळ, उपविभागीय पोलीस अधिकारी प्रदीप पाटील व पोलीस निरीक्षक रामकृष्ण महल्ले यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली सहाय्यक पोलीस निरीक्षक भारत चापाईतकर व सहकारी करीत आहे.
