यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात नुकतीच जिल्हा काँग्रेस कमिटीची कार्यकारिणी जाहीर करण्यात आली. यामध्ये जिल्हा उपाध्यक्षपदी कृष्णा पाटील देवसरकर, ख्वाजा कुरेशी, चिटणीसपदी किशोर वानखेडे यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. यावेळी माजी आ. विजय खडसे, माजी जिल्हा परिषदेचे अध्यक्ष रमेश चव्हाण, भीमराव पाटील चंद्रवंशी, गजानन सुरोशे आदींनी या निवडीचे स्वागत केले. आपण काँग्रेसच्या ध्येयधोरणांची माहिती तळागाळातील व्यक्तीपर्यंत पोहोचविण्याचे काम करू. तसेच पक्ष संघटनेच्या माध्यमातून काँग्रेस पक्षाला अधिक बळकटी देण्यासाठी अहोरात्र कार्यरत राहू पक्ष नेतृत्वाने माझ्यावर जो विश्वास दाखवला त्या विश्वासाला कधीही तडा जाऊ देणार नाही, असे नवनियुक्त काँग्रेसचे जिल्हा उपाध्यक्ष कृष्णा पाटील देवसरकर यांनी मत व्यक्त केले.
