उमरखेड : श्री राजाराम प्रभाजी उत्तरवार शासकिय उपजिल्हा रुग्णालयात सध्या कार्यरत असलेले बालरोग तज्ञ डॉ. हनुमंत धर्मकारे वय – अंदाजे 42 वर्ष पुसद रोड वरील गोरखनाथ हॉटेलच्या समोरून रुग्णालयात जात असताना अज्ञात युवकाने येऊन डॉक्टरच्या छातीमध्ये तीन ते चार गोळ्या झाडल्याची घटना घडली यामध्ये डॉ.धर्मकारे यांचा जागीच मुत्यु घटनेमुळे उमरखेड शासकीय रुग्णालय परिसरात तणावाचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले आहे.
सविस्तर वृत्त असे की, डॉ. हनुमंत धर्मकारे मागील ७ वर्षांपासून उत्तरवार शासकीय उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय येथे बालरोग तज्ञ म्हणून कार्यरत आहेत.
याशिवाय त्यांचा उमरखेड बसस्थानकाच्या समोर खाजगी बाल रुग्णालय आहे.
गेल्या ७ वर्षाच्या काळात त्यांची कारकीर्द ही अतिशय सर्वसमावेशक राहिलेली आहे या शिवाय कुठल्याही वादाच्या विषयात त्यांचे नाव चर्चेत आले नाही असे असताना आज अचानक त्यांच्यावर अज्ञात तरुणाने गोळीबार केला यामुळे शहरात चर्चेला पेव फुटले आहे.
शहरातील उत्तरवार रुग्णालयाच्या नजीकच असलेल्या गोरखनाथ हॉटेल येथे चहा पाण्यासाठी बैठक असते सायंकाळी ५ वाजताच सुमारास आपल्या मोटर सायकल
ते त्यांच्या खाजगी दवाखानाकडे जात असताना एक अज्ञात युवकाने त्यांच्यावर बंदूक रोखून छातीमध्ये गोळ्या झाडल्या, त्या वेळी आजूबाजूच्या नागरिकांनी त्यांना पकडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला परंतु तो अज्ञात युवक त्याच्या शाईन गाडीने भरधाव वेगाने पसार झाला यावेळी थारोळ्यात पडलेला डॉक्टरला नागरिकांनी उचलून येथील शासकीय रुग्णालयात उपचारासाठी दाखल केले. मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार डॉ. धर्माकारे यांची प्रकृती चिंताजनक होती थील .मुुत्यु झाले.वैद्यकीय अधीक्षक डॉ. रमेश मांडण यांंनी सागितलेे.
ही घटना शहरात वार्‍यासारखी पसरली यावेळी नागरिकांनी येथील शासकीय रुग्णालयात एकच गर्दी केली .
दरम्यानच्या काळात वातावरण शांत ठेवण्यासाठी उपविभागीय अधिकारी व्यंकट राठोड, उपविभागीय पोलिस अधिकारी प्रदीप पाडवी, उमरखेड पोलिस स्टेशनचे ठाणेदार अमोल माळवे परिस्थितीवर लक्ष ठेवून आहेत.
विशेष म्हणजे मागील आठ दिवसापासून छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज पुतळा प्रकरणी उमरखेड शहरात तणावग्रस्त स्थिती असताना त्यातच उमरखेड पोलिस बंदोबस्तात असताना सुद्धा भर रस्त्यावर हा गोळीबार झाल्याने शहरात कायदा व सुव्यवस्था यावर सामान्य नागरिकांचा असंतोष होत आहे.
