बदलापूर मधील महिला भगिनी पत्रकार श्रद्धा ठोंबरे या वृत्त संकलन करण्यासाठी गेले असता त्या ठिकाणी शाळेवर झालेल्या दगडफेकी मध्ये बदलापूर पोलीस स्टेशन यांच्यामार्फत आरोप पत्रामध्ये महिला पत्रकार श्रद्धा ठोंबरे यांचा देखील उल्लेख केला. आहे. पत्रकार हा लोकशाहीचा आरसा असून तो निरपेक्षपणे घडलेल्या घटनेचे वृत्तांकन जनतेपुढे मांडण्याचे काम करत असतो. जर अशा घटनेमध्ये पत्रकाराला नाहक त्रास दिल्यास लोकशाहीची व्याख्या मलीन होईल. व पत्रकाराला निर्भीडपणे पत्रकारिता करण्याचे स्वातंत्र्य राहणार नाही. श्रद्धा ठोंबरे या पोलीस सहकार्यासह उपस्थित असताना देखील त्यांच्याविरुद्ध खोटी तक्रार देऊन त्यांना या प्रकरणात गोवण्याचे काम केले. या घटनेचा संयुक्त पत्रकार संघ उमरखेड निषेध नोंदवून उपविभागीय अधिकारी यांचे मार्फत माननीय मुख्यमंत्री महाराष्ट्र राज्य यांना निवेदनदेताना संयुक्त पत्रकार संघटनेच्या वतीने देण्यात आले.
